Note to builders
The LP Warranty Registration Program is designed for use by the First (original) and Second Owners of the property. As you are aware, LP’s 5/50 Prorated Limited Warranty is transferable only once during its 50 year coverage. It is important that we allow the original owners of the home the benefit of transferring the warranty to subsequent (2nd) owners of the property if that opportunity arises. If warranty issues arise during the construction of the house please contact our Warranty Claims and Technical Services group at 1-800-577-4836. Additionally, we thank you for your help in insuring that the informational packets located in each unit of siding are placed with your other warranted documents left for the homeowner’s use at time of possession.
