At LP Building Solutions, strengthening the communities where we live and work is at the heart of everything we do. That’s why, as a part of our partnership with Austin FC, we are proud to support a community giveback event that took place on March 23, 2026, alongside Austin Voices for Education and Austin FC’s 4ATX Foundation.
“At LP, we believe in building more than structures. We build opportunities for communities to thrive. This partnership and project with Austin FC gives local students and families a reliable space to support the food drive and strengthen connections across Austin.” - [Shelby Henry, Integrated Marketing Manager], LP Building Solutions

Together, we are donating a new shed to Dobie Middle School in Austin, Texas, providing space to support Austin Voices’ monthly food drives and other local programming that serves many families across the AISD community.
The shed, constructed by Derksen Portable Buildings uses LP® SmartSide® Trim & Siding, and showcases how durable, sustainable building materials can help create long-lasting community impact.
“It takes a village to care for a community—this shed helps us store hope, share food, and serve those in need” – [Jose Carrasco, Director], Austin Voices Family Resource Center
While the shed is located on a school campus, the heart of this effort centers on Austin Voices for Education and their mission to empower families throughout Austin. The shed was put to immediate use during the March 23rd food drive which ensures that this investment supports both short-term and long-term solutions.

Overall, this project reflects LP’s commitment to Building a Better World™ by combining support solutions with meaningful collaboration to help create stronger futures for Austin youth and families.
